Monument to the fallen soldiers of Latgale partisan regiment
History and culture
It was founded in 1938. Monument was overturned several times and it was renovated in 1993. People call it“Balvi Staņislavs” and the monument has become a symbol of freedom, which brings together people of Balvi town in moments of remembrance.
